Registration for SOAR 2013 opens on Thursday May 2, 2013 at 1 pm Eastern Time at www.interweavesoar.com . After you fill in your correct contact information, there are some questions that you could skip and fill in later by logging back in once you've selected your classes and received your confirmation number. In Memory of Jodie Aves

Jodie Aves, long-time SOAR participant (below between Dodie Rush and Rudy Amann), died on January 27, 2013. She was a much loved member of the spinning community--both in her local guild of Las Arañas Spinners and Weaver's Guild in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and within the global community of SOAR. She attended nearly every SOAR and was in attendance to help us celebrate our thirtieth SOAR in 2012. High Park Fire and other fires in Colorado

We've received a lot of notes from readers who are concerned about all the fires around us in Colorado--thank you for your concern. We know many people who are near the fire areas and been evacuated. We're thankful for the amazing firefighters and the people who support them in their efforts--what incredible work they have done to keep the fires contained and people safe.
