Use this thread to connect with spinners who might be willing to share a lodging room at SOAR. Many great friendships have started at SOAR when strangers decided to share a room, but departed friends at the end of the week.

Things to consider:

Are you a morning or night person?

Do you snore?

Do you smoke?

I am looking to stay the whole time.

I'm a morning person, non-smoker, non-snorer.

Hi,Bighillgirl, I to am looking for a roommate, if I can get my classes, I plan to be there for the whole time. Im a morning person after my second cup of coffee. Non-snorer as long as I don't get over tired. Non-smoker unless you count vapor. So there you go.. Two glasses of wine is my limit. and I just want learn as much as I can and have fun.

Hi All - I am looking for a roommate.  I got all my classes and will be there for the whole conference, workshops, retreat and all.  I am a morning person, non-snorer most of the time.  I am a non-smoker, and also have a 2-glass wine limit.  Well, heck, pinkcarrot, you wrote my description, so if you are still looking for a roomie, let me know!

Hi Ravenridge, Yes I got my classes, but I am scared that something may happen that I cann't go so I booked a room for myself so I won't put someone in a bind. I live in Alaska, and we fish for a living, so things can happen up here.... but I do look forward to meeting you..Pinkcarrot ;)

We are 3, possibly 4 who wish to get a 4 bedroom condo. I am going to make reservations on Friday, 6/22. We are all from Reno. We are a mix of morning (I myself am early morning) and night people, but we'd each have our own separate rooms. None of us are smokers. We will be staying Sunday to Sunday. If you're interested, let me know right away - we're waiting on our 4th friend to decide if she will be staying with us or not - this post is to determine if there is anyone we could call as a back-up by this Friday. If I recall, all the condo units involve stairs to some extent. Can't wait!

I'm still looking for a roommate. I just called the hotel and reserved the LAST AVAILABLE ROOM in the SOAR block!  I would love to find a roommate to share this studio room and defray the costs. The hotel may add rooms to the block, in which case they would change me to a regular room.

I'm pretty easy-going, my main requirement is a non-smoker.

Are you still looking for a room mate - am interested Tuesday to Saturday - nonsmoker - don't know about snoring - deep sleeper - night person - jet lagged for first 2 days !!

Late to making the plans for this part of my SOAR adventure so thought I'd start here to see if anyone is looking for a roommate.

Don't usually snore, don't smoke, adapt to roommates' schedule as needed. Fairly quite when it's bedtime and in the morning. Can see well enough in the dark not to have to turn on lights if I get back to the room after you. But I won't be drunk because my limit is one beer. I also tend to wake with a smile which I can quietly take out the door if you're still sleeping.

I tend to burn the candle at both ends so up early and stay up late. Don't get to these things often and make the most of when I do. I can sleep on the train going and coming.

My family tells me I snore quietly. I do not smoke and drink quite moderately. I am used to comings and goings at night as my husband has an irregular schedule.

Hi Jan - as of this moment I am fine, roommate-wise. One of our crew hasn't gotten into the workshop she wants, and I suspect may drop out. If that's the case, I'll be back in touch, but it's nothing neither you nor I should count on.

No Jan I haven't gotten a roommate nor have I reserved a room. So if you're still interested I can make the reservation before the Sept. 21 deadline. I have no idea of what is available or what it might cost. I'm just going with the flow on this.

I should let you know that we just acquired a kitten this last week so if you have a problem with cat allergies we may need to go our separate ways. I will add that the kitten is not allowed in the bedroom nor near any clothing except what I wear each day. So there shouldn't be any cat on the things I bring to SOAR.
