Hi,
I'm a 61 year old woman from Wisconsin, USA. I have a wheel of my own and I want to start getting some use out of it. This is the first spinning site I've come in contact with and I'm very excited about it. I would really like to learn to dye wool also as I have a friend who has llamas and is also interested in spinning. It's nice to find like minded people and I hope to make many new friends here.
hello back at 'cha - am in north florida - land (currently) of the wildfires, and tropical depressions/storm bringing much prayed for rain!
the fires, which were close enuf to see flames and have embers in yard have given up; now jes working with continuing rain, clearing limbs/small tree, fixing fences. - livestock ALWAYS seem to git there first!!
enny way - the reason i wrote: hooray for learning to spin~do you know whut kind of wheel you have? and is in good repair? a book helps but someone to guide you along the way in person better, at least to get started.
good luck, have fun
tingo
I'm in Wisconsin too!
Laurie
