It's pretty much the same as for Kool-Aid - only you don't need as much, of course, and it's easier to mix colors and get shades and tints.

Denise, I like your idea of the black kitty litter pan. I have used a glass-topped casserole dish and a foil turkey-roasting pan with a sheet of glass covering it with good results, too.

I think it was called Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade. What is your procedure for using food coloring?

With a few odds and ends, you could make a solar oven and "bake" them in the sun.

I found a kitty litter box painted black with plexi-glass worked best, fastest.

Karen, isn't Kool-Aid dyeing fun? One of my favorite ways to dye - try food coloring and Easter egg dye, too. I'm curious - what flavor gave that lovely soft blue? Cris

This is white Romney that I span on a drop spindle. I recently discovered Kool-Aid dyeing and had some fun in the kitchen :-)
