Has anyone tried to port this over to their Droid? It runs on the Adobe AIR platform, so it should be possible. Would love any input.
(yes I know, the system reqs are only for windows/mac computers)
Much as I love to do things on my DX, it would be awfully small and hard to read?
You'd be surprised at how well it does work out. Most e-reader programs allow you to adjust everything from the brightness to the font to the colors to make the presentation as easy as possible to see.
Hi, there! So glad to see that folks are enjoying SpinKnit. Yes, if you can run AIR on your Droid, you should be able to port the application file. No guarantees how it will run, given the smaller system resources, but folks who have bought it on any platform are more than welcome to port it to any other device that they own. So if you decide to try, please let us know how it works and looks. Good luck!

Any way I could get this on my iPad? I really don't like to be tied to my desktop when reading a magazine, and I don't like watching videos at my desk either!
Not yet, because the iPad doesn't support Flash animation. But digital magazine technology is changing fast. We're working on it, and we hope to have SpinKnit and other eMags on tablet devices in the near future. I'm with you. I'd much rather be viewing eMags on my iPad!
There is still now version of this great emag for IPads yet. I have the spin knit app but it won't show any new magazines. The latest is Fall 2011 I think. Help or advice would be great.
Desperate Ozzie reader.
Hello, EmeraldZ!
I'm so glad to hear that you like SpinKnit! Alas, we don't have any new issues scheduled beyond the Fall 2011 issue that you have. They were great fun to produce, but unfortunately the costs of developing each issue were higher than we could support. I hope you will continue to enjoy the issues that you have.
Best,
Anne
