Where is the best place online to buy a wooden support bowl for my russian spindle? I had a ceramic one, but it broke.

I did a quick internet search and came up with these below. I searched "russian spindles and bowls" and came up with several. I understand that some have ceramic inserts, but you can find one that don't. You can also contact the seller and find out if you can purchase just the bowl. I'm sure they would be glad to make a sale in today's market.

I have a wooden support spindle bowl made by Edward Tabachek that I really love.  I have also been told that a martini glass makes a nice support bowl and is easy to hold between your legs while spinning with a support spindle.  I don't currently have any martini glasses, but think I'd like to get one and try it and see if I like it.

Using a Martini glass sounds a great idea, the conical shape would keep your spindle form escaping. I read about someone in the UK having a small dimple in the bottom of her wooden bowl to keep the spindle in the confines of the bowl.  You would have to be very careful with the glass to not break it!!!
