Hi<

I'm knittingnuteva and I have recently bought an Ashford Tradttional Single Drive Spinning Wheel from an antique shop. It is still in pretty good condition but I did have to buy a few accessories from my LYS.

I've been practicing on it all week but I am afraid that the actual wheel is warped. Is there any way to fix that or is there a resource for buying a replacement wheel?

Is the large wheel warped? It may not matter much unless the band is slipping off. Many wheels develop a bit of a wobble.

If need be, you can buy replacement parts from your LYS. They will be able to order through the distributor.

Yes..the large wheel. The band doesn't slip off but the treadling seems to be irregular.

you can get any parts from an Ashford dealer.  There are several here in the States, and many other spinning wheel dealers often carry some Ashford stuff if they sell Ashford wheels also.  Are you sure that your flyer and bobbin  whorls are in line with the wheel?   If not, they will not work right.  Neldor 3
