I just joined this community. I have wanted to learn to spin for a long time. Finally got serious and am trying to learn drop spindle style on a little spindle my DH made me out of a dowel and wooden wheel. I am doing it, although my first yarn is a bit thick and thin, I am pretty happy with my progress. Hope to improve with practice, and to learn a lot from all of you here!
