Hi, I am hoping someone can help..............I won an on-line auction for an Ashford Jumbo Flyer and bobbins, great price ,very happy...........until I realised its a double drive and I have a single drive, scotch tension Ashford traveller. I know I can get a replacement bearing bush for the maiden upright, enabling the Jumbo flyer to fit.......but do I need a replacement set of taller maiden posts......and how do I reconcile the double drive flyer with a my traveller?
I am hoping there will be a simple answer , (apart from it can't be done) but it eludes me at present. I will just have to sit on my hands next time something on my spinning wish list comes up for auction !
