Hi Everyone,
Today I joined this site. Two weeks ago I got my first spinning wheel. Six years ago I became an alpaca farmer! I love crocheting and knitting with the alpaca yarn, but something was missing. I wanted to spin! Last fall I retired, and now is the time.
My spinning results at this time leave much to be desired! I am looking forward to getting some great tips and "how-to" advice from all you experienced spinners.
I was told that suri alpaca could not be spun by itself. But I am spinning it - lumpy, bumpy, thick and thin.
It will be fun meeting all you spinners.
