Hello everyone, I'm new to spinning and it's been a bit like my quilting I've always wanted to do patchwork quilting and spinning since my children were tiny and they are now adults. But it's taken me decades to pick the right time to start, it's a bit like that old saying 'It's better late than never', Quilting I've been doing for a few years but only in the last few weeks have had the urge to start on my journey of spinning. I was fortunate to pick up a traditional spinning wheel at a secondhand furniture store that I was excited about I'm not sure what type of wheel it is. The wheel still needs a few things added to it like a few more bobbins and me getting use to the way of spinning. I guess practice makes almost perfect. At some stage I will have to try and get a picture of it so someone can tell me what sort of wheel it is.So I hope that if I have questions that they maybe answered by those that are experienced if and when I get stuck.
