Hi,

I'm Roxie from NJ, I've just recently learned to spin (last summer) I started on a homemade spindle then my dearly beloved husband fast tracked me to a Golding which I'm in love with. I will admit thought that I'm not great with the spindle I need tons more practice...for christmas he surprised me with an Ashford Joy which is awesome!!! And I bring it just about everywhere with me lol.

I've been knitting and crocheting since I was much younger in my teens really but I didn't follow many patterns until recently, I'm working on knitting a lace shawl from knitpicks and I've got to say I'm really having trouble with it. I've asked for help reading the pattern from my sister in law who is a fairly accomplished knitter, and my grandma who's been knitting for about 70 years, but they too have been having some trouble with it. I'm hoping eventually someone here can help me.

However a bit more about myself, I'm a girlie girl mostly, but I've married my best friend and we have 2 boys together, they are the light of our lives! My absolute favorite thing to do is to spin using my Ashford now, but I love to read as well. I'm an administrative assistant but I work from home (Virtual Assistant) it works best for me while the boys are in elementary school and I really enjoy doing what I do and working with my "boss". I like to read, shoot guns, ride the atv, camp, play outside with the boys and go for long rides with the hubby listening to 80's rock feeling free lol!!! Although I must admit I enjoy every kind of music from Opera to to Heavy Metal...eclectic I know. I can't wait to meet all of you.
