My name is Pat and I have been spinning since 1987. The more I spin the more I realize that there is much more to learn. I recently purchased a Great Wheel for the enormous sum of $50. It is intact, nothing missing and I know the history of this wheel as it belonged to my vets Great Great Grandmother. I did a four hour class on using a similar wheel over 15 years ago, but have forgotten all I ever knew. I also want to learn to spin on the drop spindle as I understand this requires a similar hand movement, at least it has no treadles like my 8 spinning wheels.
