Hello everyone!
I've just started spinning; it started a few weeks ago with a drop spindle and now I have a spinning wheel (which I love but I'm not good with yet, at all). I've been knitting for a few years and this just seems the natural progression, plus I love the idea of all the interesting yarns I could be making (and not needing to buy!).
When I'm not spinning I'm either knitting, painting, reading, cooking, looking after my husband and son, or practicing my electric guitar (which I am slightly better at than spinning).
I've been thinking of naming my wheel - I wonder how many others out their give their wheel a name? :)
Hi I am a new spinner also...and I have named mine already...well my hubby named it...he saw the kiwi bird on it and called it Kevin the kiwi...so the name stuck..lol
