Hello and a question about ginning your own cotton

Hi! I am a relatively new spinner (Jan 2010) and was just given a huge whopping sack of cotton bolls with the seeds still in. I saw a video on YouTube saying I could gin the cotton on my own with a pasta maker and some wool combs. Has anyone tried it? Is there any other way? I love this magazine. And...
