Like Alispin, I think that you don't know how to use your drumcarder
1) you've put really too much fibers at the same time : normally it's not necessary to work so hard with the drums
2) to take the wool off the drum carder, you can use 2 cylindres or 2 wood sticks to roll the batt on , and catch the fibers on the batt with a needle knit ,not with your fingers !
Try this, and tell me if it's better .
