Karen Brock is the assistant editor of PieceWork magazine. She has filled many desks during her years at Interweave, including coordinating the Spin-Off Autumn Retreat (SOAR) for three years and managing editorial contracts and permissions. She has been knitting since she was eight years old and adores anything with cables. When she’s not daydreaming of becoming an ace tatter, she hikes, skis, grows vegetables, and enjoys the full-throttle giggle of her 12-year-old son.
